One of 3 sculptural stone installations developed for the Overland Track, Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, Cradle Mountain Lake St Claire National Park. The works were designed as contemplation points, offering walkers another level of engagement with the environment and creating a sense of arrival/departure at each overnight site.

This work sits on an outcrop under a large eucalypt (Eucalyptus coccifera) looking out towards Barn Bluff, and speaks of time, geology and the night sky. It features a simple sun dial in the form of a snowgum flower, and an abstract map of the pre-dawn sky as it appeared on December 22, 2022. A place to take in the vast land- and sky-scapes and to be fully immersed in the elements.
